It’s a cultural phenomenon that has proliferated and evolved and has many lessons to teach, especially to those responsible for brands of all kinds.

In one fell swoop, a well-planned, well-executed artist and brand collaboration (art fusion) can easily outpace the awareness, buzz and talk-value generated by a multi-million dollar advertising campaign. The beauty of it is, both the artist and the brand are creating something of value and relevance to society, while the marketing benefit is simply a byproduct of the inherent interest the union creates.
