When Takashi Murakami decided to collaborate with Louis Vuitton in 2011, any artist with even faint misgivings about this new art movement was forced to reconsider. The partnership proved many things to many people. It showed that when done right, art fusion is simply another venue for the artist’s work and yet another way for the artist to further his or her metier.
ARTS & LABOUR strongly believes that the work produced in collaboration with a brand must have artistic value and contribute to our culture in a meaningful way. You are not at risk of ‘selling out’ when you work with us.
The Arts & Labour process for Artists
We will help you find the collaboration that best allows you to achieve your artistic goals. We will meet with you, and if you like, analyze your work and audience to find the best brand fit and ensure you get the most benefit from the collaboration.
Once we know the right fit and are able to find an interested brand, ARTS & LABOUR will guide you through every step of the collaborative process – from the initial meeting, to the agreement, the briefing, the presentation of your work, all the way through to the execution.
Our goal is to ensure that the whole process is creatively interesting, painless and ultimately rewarding.
